ISO 14001

Businesses that have ISO 14001 (ISO 14001:2004) certification, particularly in today’s market place, are able to demonstrate they have systems in place to manage their impact on the environment. There is increasing focus on environmental credentials and environmental management systems and what better way to present or reinforce those than certification to ISO 14001.

For business involved in the green sector it’s almost a ‘must have’, but for many other organisations certification to ISO 14001 is a tangible way to demonstrate that you are aware of, and concerned by, the environmental impact your business makes. Not that you are trying to have zero impact on the environment, but that you are aware of and trying to minimise that impact whilst still running a successful business.

ISO 14001 has been structured to tie in with ISO 9001, to enable organisations to develop an integrated approach to business processes and management systems. Concept has been certified to ISO 14001 since 2003 and continues to reap the many benefits of that today. In addition we are also certified to ISO 9001.
